As a member of Frontline for Climate Action, I volunteered with the Feminine Future Foundation Project to participate in a mentorship session at Old Lashibi Basic School on Thursday, 22nd January 2026. The event was held in celebration of the International Day of Education, themed 'The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education'.
I had the opportunity to share my insights with the students, encouraging them to recognize their potential and tap into their power, especially the girls. I emphasized the importance of gender equality, highlighting how it is crucial for achieving equitable quality education and unlocking the full potential of individuals and societies. I urged the students, particularly the girls, to challenge stereotypes and push for equal opportunities in all fields, whether it's STEM, leadership, or any other area they're passionate about.

My message to the students was simple yet powerful: "Age doesn't make impact, ideas do." I encouraged them to dream big, believe in themselves, and not limit their aspirations. The energy and enthusiasm of the students were palpable, and it was inspiring to see them eager to make a difference in their own lives and communities.
The event was a great opportunity to network with fellow activists and organizations committed to creating positive change. I'm grateful to have been part of this initiative and look forward to seeing the impact of our collective efforts.
