Ten Selected to Benefit from Frontline for Climate Action and CPI Scholarship Program

In a groundbreaking partnership aimed at empowering individuals and fostering community development, Frontline for Climate Action has joined forces with the Center for Project Innovation (CPI), a U.S.-based organization specializing in career development and project management training. This collaboration, formalized through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will provide ten deserving individuals from Ghana with the opportunity to acquire world-class project management skills through the Certified Project Officer program.

The ten selected beneficiaries, who will receive full scholarships to participate in this comprehensive training, are:

  • Afia Bemah Nimako

  • John Coblah Matrevi

  • Robert Darlymple Attah

  • Cedric Dzelu

  • Diana Ashitey

  • Harrison Martey

  • Peter Martin

  • Solomon Terkutey Djangmah

  • Justine Akpene Egbenya

  • Pikuss Mortey

The Certified Project Officer program is designed to equip participants with essential project management skills that are increasingly in demand across various industries. Beneficiaries will be empowered to lead complex projects, boost their employability, and drive social and economic change in their communities.

This partnership is especially significant because it targets a diverse group of individuals, including climate activists, community leaders, youth, and small business owners, all of whom are committed to advancing personal and community development. Cedric Dzelu, Executive Director of Frontline for Climate Action, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing that it is not just about acquiring skills but about building confidence and creating pathways to social impact.

Paul Kelly, CPI’s Grants Program Manager, also highlighted the importance of this initiative, noting that the partnership will provide participants with the necessary resources and support to succeed in their project management training.

As the program gets underway, the first cohort of scholarship recipients is expected to complete their training in the coming months. This initiative aims to inspire even more individuals to step into leadership roles and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.
