Commemorating a man of fine repute, a visionary leader: Mr. Cedric Dzelu's unprecedented leadership on his birthday

Today, we celebrate not just a birthday, but a legacy in motion, the birthday of Mr. Cedric Dzelu, a dynamic leader whose tireless work across climate action, youth empowerment, and sports development continues to inspire change across Africa and beyond.

As the Founder of Frontline for Climate Action, Mr. Dzelu has been a relentless advocate for environmental sustainability, pushing forward initiatives that place communities at the heart of climate resilience. His visionary leadership has empowered grassroots organizations, influenced policy, and catalyzed global conversations around environmental justice and sustainable development.

In his role as Technical Director at the Office of the Minister of State in charge of Climate Change and Sustainability, Mr. Dzelu plays a pivotal part in shaping Ghana's national and international climate agenda. His strategic insights have been critical in crafting solutions that align climate action with national development priorities, ensuring that Ghana not only adapts to a changing climate but thrives in spite of it.

Beyond climate advocacy, Mr. Dzelu’s influence spans the continent through his position as Acting Executive Secretary of the Africa Youth Commission. In this role, he has been a staunch advocate for the empowerment of African youth, mobilizing talent, resources, and networks to amplify young voices in decision-making processes. His belief in the power of youth to transform Africa is evident in every project he touches, and the impact is visible in communities across the continent.

Remarkably, Mr. Dzelu also serves as Vice President of the Ghana Tennis Association, demonstrating his versatile leadership and commitment to youth development through sports. Under his guidance, the association continues to grow in visibility and impact, nurturing young talents and positioning tennis as a tool for discipline, opportunity, and national pride.

As we mark today, May 27, we do more than wish Mr. Dzelu (Cedrico Minini) a happy birthday. We honor a man of vision, integrity, and action. A changemaker whose work intersects the critical spheres of climate, youth, governance, and sports. His journey is a reminder that one dedicated individual can influence systems, shift narratives, and transform lives.

On behalf of the many lives he has touched and the countless more he will inspire, we say:

Happy Birthday, Cedrico Minini. Age gracefully. May this year bring you even greater strength, fulfillment, and success.
